In Sync Proverbs

This is going to be an exciting journey as you spend time learning the wisdom of Solomon. Solomon was the wisest man in the world. When Solomon was anointed the new king of Israel, he had big shoes to fill. His dad was King David and the people loved him. After David was gone Solomon had the responsibility to carry on. One day, he prayed and asked God for wisdom to know how to lead the people. God was so proud of Solomon for his unselfish request that God also blessed him with great riches and fame.

Solomon was serving as the king for many years before he wrote Proverbs. He learned many things along the way and he wanted to teach his son all the important things God taught him. Inspired by God, Solomon wrote all the words that God gave him to share. God knew there would be many others who could benefit from these words of wisdom.

That’s where you come in. Every day you are going to read a verse or two in the book of Proverbs. After you read the verse, there are a few ideas that will help you get your thoughts going. Don’t just read through this so you can check off your list that you did your devotions today! That is really lame and God isn’t impressed at all.

Our goal is for you to sync your thoughts, your ways, and your feelings with God’s wisdom. Once this happens, you will have the wisdom of God directing you in every area of your life. This will change your life in ways you can’t imagine.
