DFM Guatemalan Honey Coffee

Our coffee is Guatemalan specialty coffee, produced by women, and roasted at origin. We source this specialty-grade coffee from a company that values women and their role in the coffee industry. They are paid above-average wages and are given educational and practical empowerment.

Specialty coffee is considered specialty based on a score given by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Coffee that scores 80 or higher represents only 6% of the coffee in the world. This coffee has an average score of 84.

The price includes shipping. Coffee is roasted and then on your doorstep within about a week straight from Guatemala. Orders are placed on Monday mornings so if your order is placed after that it will be the next Monday before your order will be included. Please note that the shipping times can vary based on how long it takes the coffee to pass through customs once arriving in the U.S.

Coffee Characteristics:

This coffee carries crisp notes of apricot, cacao tea, and molasses joined with the silky body and exquisite finish of this Honey Process. These subtle and intriguing flavors are the best part of this specialty coffee. It is a clean cup with a silky body that’s on the lighter side. This coffee is phenomenal brewed in most methods. Pour Over and Drip devices highlight its characteristics best. We recommend always trying the first 2 sips of your cup of coffee without any additives to experience its natural goodness. After, if it’s your preference, a bit of sweetener doesn’t harm this coffee. Because of its delicate nature, we do not recommend adding milk.
